Steven R. Maynard (Rico)
March 26, 1985 - Aug. 13, 2008
This is a tribute to our dear friend, Steven Maynard. Many of us knew him by his favorite nickname, Rico.
This website has been the most challenging one that I've ever made. I knew Steve as Rico. He was one of my son's best friends, and he gradually became one of our family over the years. He was like a son to us. I feel we were all fortunate to have had Rico in our lives. The last time I saw him is going to haunt my memories forever. Something which is always difficult for me to fathom is how we can be talking to someone one day, and then soon afterwards that person is taken away from us forever. I will miss Rico very much. I am proud to have had him for a friend.
Over time, I hope to gather thoughts and memories from his family and friends. There's a memorial guestbook for him at the link at the end of the page, and it will remain open forever. Please feel welcome to share your thoughts.
